Tales of Knights Chat Rules

  1. Given the fast paced nature of the chat, it is understandable that arguments will get heated and the like. For the most part, there is an adult community in the chat, and profanity is acceptable. However, abusive profanity or gratuitous use of this language is not acceptable, nor will it be tolerated. Violation of this rule will see the offending account outlawed for 1 to 300 days, depending on the nature of the offense.
  2. Spaming are not allowed. Spam is defined as anything said to promote products, services or anything else that is not related to game features or the game itself. Flooding of the chat will not be tolerated either. Repeating something once will suffice if a statement was missed. Violation of this rule will result in the offending user being outlawed for 3 to 10 days, or deleted; depending on the severity of the offense.
  3. Scamming is an old tradition on ToK, as such, you should be on your guard when making deals in the chat, without the protection of PM's. However, the restrictions on scamming still apply fully, and any such attempts to get around them via dealing in the chat will be dealt with quickly. Players who witness such illegal actions should contact a member of the staff team as soon as possible.
  4. Speech on the chat that is derogatory towards any of the following: race, creed, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, military and veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or anything else considered by the staff to be personal and/or protected will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Failure to abide by this rule will result in the offending account being outlawed for a period determined needed by the staff and/or deleted; based upon the severity of the offense. However, this is not to say free expression is not allowed. Discussion on the above topics is allowed, but we ask you to understand where line should be drawn. If you want to talk about anything, feel free. But don't start calling names, or mocking 'sterotypes' or speek in a hateful manner, because then the staff will stop you.
  5. Players who request staff positions on chat unsolicited will, as a general rule, be removed from the list of potential staff for the future. Those who show good conduct on the chat, are helpful to their fellow players and are willing to wait, as a general rule, are added to the list of potential staff for the future. Be aware.
