there should be standards tho.. not have ''cow mills'' or poor standards of care/comfort.
you can be humane to your dinner before you grill it.

I love animals, I also love to eat them.
If I had to kill them myself I doubt that I could do it, I think I would become vegetarian.

I also agree with El, the animals raised for food should live comfortably and should not suffer when they are killed, they should die a quick death

Temo, that's a great point. I love animals, also love eating them... but if I had to kill them I might not eat as much meat.
Of course when my boss (who is a hunter) brings game I'm happy to take some home (moose is the BEST meat I've ever had, bar none), and I do like to fish so I guess I do kill my own food every now and again.

I also like fresh vegetables and hate to hear a tomato scream when I pull it from the vine XP

Oh right -- the topic is animal rights... I agree with Cid and Temo. Their lives should be comfortable and their deaths should be swift. I won't eat veal because of the practices surrounding raising it, nor do I eat canned tuna -- or any tuna that I don't know who or how they caught it -- because of the way other fish are wasted and large animals, like dolphins, are winched up into the pulleys accidentally when they become tangled in the net.

i say i dont really care about animal rights...
think of this we cage up animals to eat... why?
because most animals would kill us first its a kill or be killed world and a cruelty free steak tastes as good as inhumanely killed ones
